Movements of the Month, June

June's movements of the month are brought to you by Madison May who is demonstrating a single leg hip bridge followed by a hamstring extension on a medicine ball. The medicine ball is an excellent way to work on stabilizing your targeted muscle group as well as increasing your muscles time under tension.



What if this movement it too advanced?

One way to build up to this movement is to try using both legs when performing the exercise. If this is still difficult and you feel like your form is compromised then try removing the medicine ball and practicing your hip bridges on a stable surface.


Tip:

if you can easily do 10-12 reps fairly easy then try using this movement at the end of your workout for a nice finisher.








Here’s how to do it:

  1. Head to your Member’s Page

  2. Search for the member you want to make a writer

  3. Click on the member’s profile

  4. Click the 3 dot icon ( ⠇) on the Follow button

  5. Select Set as Writer
